Garganega

Italiaanse witte druif. Garganega staat aangeplant in Veneto voor wijnen als Soave en Gambellara en is onder de naam grecanico ook op Sicilië te vinden. Garganega is populair bij producenten. Dat heeft alles te maken met zijn genereuze opbrengst, de losse trossen die rotting voorkomen en, wanneer de opbrengst binnen de perken blijft, zijn delicate aroma’s die doen denken aan perzik, gele appel en vooral amandel. Van garganega kan ook zoete wijn gemaakt worden, zoals Recioto di Soave.
